We had our nightly ghost tour with Csenge. She guided us through the inner city and had a lot, sinister and vile stories. It was an amazing tour and brought a new light on the city.

My partner and I were on a tour and it was very interesting. We had a very personal attitude. We answered all the questions we asked about high level English proficiency and dark secrets of Rome.

Dinara was knowledgeable and engaging. This was such a fun way to take a break from the museums and mean about the dark side of Rome’s history.

Rome may be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but after dark, a more sinister side emerges. The ghosts of popes, emperors, and artists lurk on every corner, their lives claimed by tragedy and conspiracy across more than 2,000 years of history. Our Rome Ghost Tour is not for the faint-hearted. You and a group of fellow thrill-seekers will follow a ghost-loving guide who will let you in on local lore with ghastly tales of beheadings and murder that are sure to keep you up late at night.

We'll start the tour at Campo de’ Fiori, where you'll receive an interactive Ghost Hunter Kit armed with tips for how to spot a ghost and chilling facts about the spirits we'll encounter on our journey.

Here, you’ll hear the shocking tale of Giordano Bruno, one of Rome’s greatest minds, who got on the wrong side of the church. After learning about his grisly end, we'll venture through medieval backstreets where we'll discover an ancient church adorned with skulls, see the childhood home of one of Rome’s most infamous executioners, stand on the site of one of the city's most infamous prisons, and pass by a poisonous perfumery where cosmetics killed...literally.

Your guide will paint a petrifying picture of paranormal Rome with morbid storytelling and use chilling visual recreations that will captivate you and give you nightmares.

We'll finish the tour at the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo, where your guide will reveal the horror of Rome’s most disturbing executions. When the tour's over, you'll receive a certificate of survival, if you survive, of course.

If you’re (un)lucky, you might even encounter a ghost or two. But no matter what, you’ll never see Rome the same way again.
